For Rachel Lewis, a security guard at the mall, the Christmas holiday season is one big headache. She wants nothing to do with the celebration of love, peace, and family harmony. Her disenchantment with the holiday slowly begins to change when she meets seven-year-old Tyler and his mother.
***Kissing Ms. Santa Claus***
Rachel is counting the days until she and Lillian celebrate their first Christmas together as a couple. She is filled with longing for only one thing to make her holiday complete a long-term commitment from Lillian. She sets out to find the perfect gift that will reflect her love and devotion.
***The Christmas Elf***
After her home state finally recognizes same-sex marriages, Rachel wants to propose to Lillian. Rachel is confident she has it all covered. She plans to take a second job as the mall Santa Claus to earn the money for Lillian's ring. But luck is not on her side, so Rachel finds herself with bells on her toes, playing a Christmas Elf.
Note "The Christmas Grump" and "Kissing Ms. Santa Claus" have been previously published in the anthology "Gingerbread Hearts".

Three short, nicely written stories about Rachel, a mall security guard, and Lillian, a widow with a seven year old boy. The boys mother is working three jobs to make ends meet, one job at a burger joint at the mall. No sitter forces Lillian to bring her son to work. The bored child wanders off to a toy store where Rachel spots him looking fondly at a toy she thinks he is going to lift.The stories are connected and portray significant Christmas moments in these three lives. They made me feel good.

This is a super cute & fun read. Even though it's based around the holidays, it's totally enjoyable no matter the season.
Another wonderful story written by Jae. The book is based around the holidays and the broken heart of two women. The story was very cute and sweet. I would suggest reading it.

Another great book from Jae. A must read
It was a good read. Lots of laughs, and made me think a lot about my 24 years with my wife, kids and now Grandchildren.
Found this a delightful Christmas story. Characters are good and bad great humor. Haven't read that much of Had but look forward to reading more.
There was little, if any sex involved in these stories, and that was A-OK by me. Quick, cute read. Something to clean the palate between heavier reads; or on the commuter to/from work. This author has yet to disappoint me. This is the third book I've read by her; each one has been very different, but each one very satisfying. If you want just a very short Christmas themed lesbian read, this one will do quite nicely.
